Your Moroccan adventure begins at Casablanca Airport where you’ll meet your guide. We’ll first visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, the world’s second largest mosque that welcomes non-Muslim visitors. Afterwards, we’ll travel to Rabat to explore its historic landmarks including the Chellah ruins and Oudaya Kasbah. The journey continues north through the fertile Gharb plain before ascending into the Rif Mountains. As evening falls, we’ll arrive in the enchanting blue city of Chefchaouen where you’ll spend your first night in a traditional riad.
Today offers free time to discover Chefchaouen’s magical blue-washed streets at your leisure. Begin by visiting the 15th-century kasbah with its peaceful gardens and small museum showcasing local history. Wander through the maze of azure alleyways, each turn revealing new photographic opportunities. Don’t miss Ras El Maa, the freshwater spring where locals gather. In the late afternoon, hike up to the Spanish Mosque for breathtaking sunset views over the sea of blue buildings nestled in the mountain valley.
After breakfast, we depart through rolling hills to Volubilis, Morocco’s best-preserved Roman archaeological site. Walk among ancient olive presses and intricate mosaics while learning about this once-thriving provincial capital. Continuing south, we reach imperial Meknes where we’ll visit the monumental Bab Mansour gate and lavish Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Following lunch in the medina, we’ll drive to Fes, arriving in time to settle into your riad in the ancient medina.
A knowledgeable local guide will lead you through Fes el-Bali, the world’s largest living medieval medina. Our full-day exploration begins at the ornate Royal Palace gates before visiting the historic Jewish Quarter. We’ll discover hidden gems like the 14th-century Bou Inania Madrasa and the famous Chouara tanneries where leather has been processed using ancient methods. The day concludes with panoramic views over the entire medina from a strategic vantage point at sunset.
Today’s scenic drive takes us from the cultural riches of Fes to the golden sands of the Sahara. We’ll pass through Ifrane, known as “Moroccan Switzerland” for its alpine architecture, before stopping in the cedar forests to observe wild Barbary macaques. The landscape transforms dramatically as we enter the Ziz Valley with its endless palm groves. Arriving in Merzouga in late afternoon, you’ll mount camels for a magical sunset trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes to your luxury desert camp.
Awake early to witness the spectacular desert sunrise before returning to your hotel for breakfast. Today is dedicated to understanding authentic desert life, beginning with visits to nomadic families who maintain traditional lifestyles. We’ll continue to Khamlia village where descendants of West African slaves preserve their unique Gnawa musical heritage. After a traditional “Berber pizza” lunch with a local family, the afternoon offers free time to relax by the pool or explore Merzouga village.
Following another breathtaking desert sunrise, we begin our journey north through ever-changing landscapes. Our first stop is Rissani, the ancestral home of Morocco’s ruling dynasty. Continuing west, we reach the dramatic Todra Gorge, where 300-meter-high cliffs tower above a palm-filled canyon. By evening, we arrive in Dades Valley, known for its surreal “monkey fingers” rock formations, where you’ll spend the night at a hotel with spectacular valley views.
Today’s scenic route takes us through the fragrant Valley of Roses, where thousands of Damask rose bushes bloom each spring. We’ll visit Skoura’s impressive palm grove before reaching Ait Benhaddou, Morocco’s most famous ksar. After lunch, we cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass, stopping for panoramic views before descending to Marrakech where you’ll spend the evening in a riad within the vibrant medina.
A local guide will reveal Marrakech’s highlights, beginning with the opulent Bahia Palace and the mysterious Saadian Tombs. We’ll admire the Koutoubia Mosque’s magnificent minaret and explore the souks where artisans practice centuries-old crafts. After lunch, we’ll visit the lush Majorelle Garden before an overview of modern Marrakech in the Gueliz district.
Your unforgettable Moroccan journey concludes with a transfer to Marrakech Menara Airport based on your flight schedule.

Tej GVerified A Memorable Moroccan trip with an Amazing Guide! I just had the most unforgettable trip to Morocco with 13 incredible women! From the moment we arrived in Marrakech to our final stop in the stunning blue city of Chefchaouen, everything was seamless. We explored vibrant souks, historic places, and breathtaking landscapes. We rode dromedary (Arabian camel) at sunset, soared in a hot air balloon at sunrise, hiked through Monkey Fingers, and danced under the stars to Berber music and lot more. Our guide, Moh, made the experience even more enjoyable. He has a deep knowledge of Morocco’s history and culture. He was not only informative but also incredibly friendly, respectful and fun. He cared for each of us, ensuring we all were comfortable and engaged throughout the trip. Whether it was lending a helping hand in a challenging hike, helping negotiate prices at the shops, or answering any question about Morocco, he was always there. He carries a certain pride and passion for being a tour guide, and it shows.Beyond the itinerary, I fell in love with the warmth and hospitality of the Moroccan people. Whomever I interacted with, I was met with kindness and respect. The warmth, their hospitality, their stories, and, of course their mint tea - made my trip truly special and memorable. I will definitely be returning to Morocco in the future. If you’re considering visiting, I highly recommend it - especially with a guide like Moh! 😊 Michelle MVerified Great time! We had the best time with Mohammed as our guide over two days in Marrakech! We were a group of four, myself, my mom, and my identical twin 18 year old boys.
