Day 1: Marrakesh-Ait Benhaddou-Gorge Dades.

3 days Marrakech desert tour departure: We will welcome you to Marrakesh, in order to drive to Ouarzazate, a former caravan town on the silk and salt route in the eastern foothills of the Atlas Mountains. Ouarzazate is known as the Gateway to the Sahara. First of all, we will travel through the dramatic landscape of the High Atlas Mountains passing through the Berber town of Taddert and over the 2260 meters high Tizi-in-Tichka pass. We will stop at the famous Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, 30 kilometers from Ouarzazate. The Kasbah is one of the most intriguing red earth castles lining the ancient road of the Kasbahs and is a UNESCO world heritage site. Lunch by the Kasbah and continue on our way to Dades Gorge via Ouarzazate. “the Hollywood of Africa”. On, through the “Road of the thousand Kasbahs”- the fascinating “sand castles”.we will continue in our journey to stop at Kalaat Mgouna, “the rose’s city” known for roses and its annual festival during the roses harvest in May, and then continue to our hotel in the heart of the Dades Gorge.

Day 2: Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge – Sahara Merzouga(camel ride).

After breakfast in the hotel, drive back through the valley to see the amazing rock formation “the monkey toes”, and the still-standing 19th century Kasbah of Ait Yul. Leave the Dades Valley towards Tinrghir and the Todra Valley. Watch the panoramic views of the old mud Berber villages overlooking the valley. Get to the Gorge and walk under the 300m high red cliff, where many Rock-climbers come to enjoy their preferred sport. Continue our trip to Erfoud and Rissani where we have lunch; afterward, we leave for the village of Merzouga, where your camel will be awaiting you. before you mount your camel, guided by an experienced Camel man, to explore the mysterious sand sea of the Erg-Chebbi. This trip begins in the evening, we organize the camel ride for the night in the desert from Merzouga village. The trek will start right into the desert for 1:30min, We will spend the night in an equipped camp in the middle of the Sahara, this is a great opportunity to take lovely pictures of the sunset and sunrise, when we arrive at the camp we walk to the high dunes to see the sunset,It will be a magical night when the sky is clear of cover and stars sparkle and shine with intensity, there will be a wonderful dinner around a campfire, Here you will spend your night under the stars, or if you prefer, in a traditional Berber nomad tent.

Day 3: Merzouga-Valley ziz-Medilt -Ifran-Fes.

In the morning we will ride the camels backing to Merzouga, you’ll have breakfast and shower in your riad in Merzouga so as to travel to Fes via Errachidia along the magnificent ZizGorges carved through volcanic rock, and through the Tizi Ntalghamt Pass to Midelt, then continue our journey to Azrou, a Berber village in the Middle Atlas Mountains, before which we stop to see the Barbarian apes in the famous Cedar forest. On to Ifran “the French village”, stop for a picture or a drink then drive to Fes where the tour ends.

4 days Fes to Marrakech itinerary:

Day 1: FES- Ifrane- Azrou- Medalt- Errachidia-Merzouga(Erg Chabbi).

4 days Fes Morocco desert trip to Marrakech departure: The guide of Morocco Helping Tours will pick you up from the Hotel/Riad. We will start our trip from the first imperial city (Fes) passing through the middle Atlas Mountains. The first stop will be at the city of Ifrane (Moroccan Switzerland), we will have a walk in the city for 15 minutes to discover its beauty and specificities. Some of the remarkable features of the city are: it is considered the cleanest city in Morocco and it is inspired by the European architecture. After spending few times in Ifrane our trip continues to the biggest and the largest forest in Morocco where you will enjoy the time with Barbarian Apes (monkeys). After then we will be heading to Medalt (the capital of the apple) via the highest point of the middle Atlas Mountains. In the apple city we will have our lunch, then we will drive to pass through Zibell Tunnel which is made by the French colonial in order to pass the weapons to the borders. For a while we will have a stop on the panoramic view of Ziz Valley which is full of palm trees and considered the main source of the date. The final stop we will drive through welcoming Berber villages to Erfoud, and then Rissani, the foundation of the Alaouite dynasty – the current ruling royal family in Morocco. Arriving in Merzouga at the end of the day, you’ll be welcomed with a glass of mint tea before you check in to your riad/ hotel.

Day 2: Exploring the desert area (culture and history).

After breakfast in the riad/hotel you will start an explorative journey of the area. You’ll visit the Gnawa people, originally slaves brought from Sudan, to experience their music and lifestyle. After that, we will drive in desert area where you will have the opportunity to meet the nomad families still living in Berber tents and explore their way of life. Today our lunch will be local meal (Berber pezza) with a local family. You may also visit the souk in Rissani, a traditional town which was the origin of the ruling family in Morocco and the meeting place of the Caravans trading as far as Timbuctou in Mali. Here you will see a lot of men hooded and women veiled. The final stop will be at the camel place where we are going to ride them and spend an overnight in the nomadic tent and enjoy the company of a band playing Berber music under the stars in the heart of the desert/ Sahara, This a beautiful experience that you might need to film. the desert/ Sahara.

Day 3: Merzouga(Erg Chabbi) – Erfoud -Toudra gorges- Dades valley

Your camel guides will weak you up in the early morning to experience the magic and best sunrise among the dunes which will be the fabulous one in your life. Afterward you will peacefully ride camels back to the riad/hotel where you are going to have a traditional breakfast and take a hot shower. After then we will drive to Erfoud (the capital of fossils and date) where we are going to discover the process of beautiful mineral fossils, then we will leave to Toudra gorges: the highest and narrowest gorge in Morocco and it is about 500m above the sea. Here you will have the chance to hike a long it’s valley. We will drive towards Dades valley where we will see the majestic sand castles and amazing rock formation named “fingers of monkeys”. The overnight accommodation will be in a hotel/riad in the heart of the valley with dinner and breakfast included.

Day 4: Dades valley – Roses valley – Ouarzazat – Ait bn Haddou – Marrakech

Once you finish your breakfast, we will continue our tour that started from Fes. Today we will drive to take the road named the route of thousand Kasbah, providing several opportunities to take beautiful pictures of the trip. The first stop of today will be at Roses valley “The rose city” where you see the how they do the distillation of Roses in one of the cooperatives that offer the product of the roses. Continue to the city of Ouarzazat “the Hollywood of Africa, The door of the desert”. Our mid-day meal will be in the famous Kasbah of Ait bn Haddou. It is recognized by UNESCO as world patrimony. It is famous as backdrop for many films such as: (Gladiator, the Sheltering Sky, Game of Throne). Day 1: Arrival at Agadir Airport.

In our way we will stop at one the Cooperatives of SAFRAN as it is the main economy of that city. Our lunch will take place at Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah where we will visit the famous Kasbah (declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986). Famous films have been shot in this spectacular stage, including Gladiator, Obelix, The Mummy, The Jewel of the Nile, and Sahara with Penelope Cruz…etc. After visiting the Kasbah we´ll go to Ouarzazate also known as “The gate of the desert”. Continuing driving to Toudra gorges which are a series of limestone river canyons, we will stop for 20 minutes to discover the area of gorges and lunch will be at one of the restaurant in our way to Merzouga. The main stop will take us place in Daraa valley YOU will wake up early to experience an amazing sunrise in the top of the big sand dunes, then, which is the largest and longest valley full of the palm trees, it considered also as the main source of the date the county. Later on, we will continue to Marrakech over the high Atlas Mountains. Arrival to Marrakech where Morocco Helping and overnight at the Riad in the heart of the old Medina.

Day 6: Marrakech Sightseeing (Culture tour by local guide).

After breakfast in the riad, you will start exploring Marrakech “the Red City of Morocco”. Your guide will ensure that you see most of the sites with historical and cultural interest – including the famous Jemaa El Fna square, the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian tombs; the Palace of Bahia and the Ben Youssef Coranic School. Lunch at a restaurant near the square, then in the afternoon visit the Majorelle Gardens, and have a short visit to the new city of Marrakech. Overnight at the same Riad at the heart of the old city (Medina).

Day 7: Marrakech – Ounagha- Essaouira.

After breakfast, we will leave Marrakech “the red city” toward Essaouira or the Old Portuguese city. You may visit an Argan factory run by women and get to know about the process of making Argan oil. You will explore the port of the Coastal tourist town of Essaouira. Enjoy a fresh seafood lunch in the medina. The afternoon is at your leisure for a personal exploration; you can swim and relax on the beach. Enjoy your evening meal and spend the night in a Riad at the heart of the old city.

Day 8: Essaouira- Imsouane- Agadir

After breakfast at your accommodation we will start our day towards Agadir city passing through imsouane where you can have lunch or doing some activities by yourself.You will cross the high Atlas Mountains and many genuine Berber villages that were built by mud and rocks, and see many Argan trees along your way; you will have several stops at your request. Arriving at Agadir where we will drop you of at your accommodation regarding your interest.

Day 1: CHEFCHAOUN (bleu pearl)- VOLIBULIS – MEKNES- FES.

6 days Chefchaouen private Desert tour departure: After the traditional breakfast, we leave Chefchaouen (bleu pearl), crossing the Rif Mountains and passing through green land which is full of different types of products. Arriving at the Roman site (Volubilis) is a partly excavated Berber city in Morocco situated near the city of Meknes, and commonly considered as the ancient capital of the kingdom of Mauretania. Built-in a fertile agricultural area, it developed from the 3rd century BC onward as a Berber, then proto-Carthaginian, settlement before being the capital of the kingdom of Mauretania. Driving to Meknes where we will have lunch and explore the main site of the city. Afterward, we will continue to the first imperial city of the Kingdom of Morocco where accommodation is in the old city.

Day 2: FES SIGHTSEE (CULTURE TOUR).

Today you will have almost 6 hours exploring the city of Fes with a local guide. The tour is divided into two parts. The first will be by car as you will see the royal palace gate, the Jewish quarter, a panoramic view of the old city, and the ceramic factory to see the traditional Moroccan handicraft. Afterward, you will have enough time to see the inside the wall of the medina including Tanneries, the Bou Anania Medersa, and the Karaouine mosque. Day 3: FES- MIDDLE ATLAS MOUNTAINS- MIDELT- Ziz gorges- MERZOUGA (Camel rides)

After breakfast, you will meet your diver/guide again and you will start your long day where you will see different things in one day. Our itinerary will start from the first imperial city of Morocco (Fes) toward the Sahara desert. We will travel through the middle Atlas Mountains. On our way, we will pass through the city of Ifrane which is known as “Moroccan Switzerland” because of its building. We will continue to the home of the native barbarian apes the cedar forest, the largest and the biggest one in Morocco. After crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains we will see many tents and caves of the nomadic families before stopping at the city of Medalt which is famous for its apples. Day 5: MERZOUGA- RISSANI- TOUDRA GORGES- DADES VALLEY

While you were enjoying the sunrise at the heart of the dunes and taking beautiful memories your camel man will take you back to the hotel where you will enjoy your breakfast and have a hot shower as well. Later on, we will drive to Dades Valley passing through the city of Rissani/Sijilmassa which is one of the main stops of commercial caravans that come from Africa. On Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday there will be an opportunity to visit the traditional market of Rissani. We drive to Todra Gorges as the main place of having a picnic because it is a wonderful view. Arriving at Dades Valley where you will have an overnight in a hotel that sheds light and have a good view of the valley.

Day 6: DADES VALLEY- ROSES VALLEY – OUARZAZAT- MARRAKECH

Today we travel off-road and explore the region between the Dades Valley and the Valley of Roses. You will encounter the local nomads, some of whom still live in caves and tents. At El-Kelaa M’Gouna up to 4000 tonnes of rose petals are picked every spring to be processed into rosewater or exported for the perfume industry. The Rose Festival is held here in May. As we travel from El-Kelaa M’Gouna towards Skoura you will see Kasbahs set out among the greenery of the Dades Valley. The small town of Skoura is surrounded by an impressive palm grove and the most beautiful Kasbahs in southern Morocco are to be found here. Continuing south we arrive at the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, probably the most celebrated, filmed, and photographed Kasbah in Morocco. Featured in numerous films (including Lawrence of Arabia, The Sheltering Sky, and Gladiator), it is the best-preserved Kasbah in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
