2 days from Marrakech to Fes via Sahara desert itinerary:

DAY 1: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Rose Valley – Dades Valley- Erg Chebbi (Merzouga).

2 days from Marrakech to Fes via Sahara desert departure: Morocco Helping Tour guide will pick you up from your Hotel/riad in Marrakech at 6:00 a.m., our 3 days Marrakesh Fes tour will take us over the heart of the high Atlas Mountains and Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m). We’ll stop to enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the mountains and the special Berber Villages on the way. Once, we cross the mountains we get to the gate of the desert, the oldest and most famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou – A UNESCO World Heritage Site used as a backdrop for more than 20 films (Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, Games of Thrones….You will only have time for a picture from the panoramic view. Then we will travel through the city of Ouarzazate (Hollywood of Africa) – with the biggest cinema studios – after that, we continue south to the Valley of Roses where around 400 tons of rose petals are picked every year and sent to be processed into rose water, which we called it also as the distillation of roses in order to produce the creams and perfumes. Later, we will drive all along the road of thousand kasbahs on our way to the Desert. The final stop will be at the camel place where we are going to ride them and spend an overnight in the nomadic tent and enjoy the company of a band playing Berber music under the stars in the heart of the desert/ Sahara, This a beautiful experience that you might need to film. the desert/ Sahara.

DAY 2: Sahara Desert – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Cedar Forest- Ifrane – Fes.

Your camel guides will wake you up in the early morning to experience the magic and best sunrise among the dunes which will be the fabulous one in your life. Afterward, you will peacefully ride camel back to the riad/hotel where you are going to have a traditional breakfast and take a hot shower. After that, we will drive to Erfoud (the capital of fossils and date) where we are going to discover the process of beautiful mineral fossils. Then we will leave for Fez traveling through Aoufous and Ziz Valley where we’ll stop to appreciate the panoramic views of the main source of data in the country of Morocco. We will stop for lunch in Midelt (the capital of the apple) and we will continue to take pictures of wild monkeys (Barbarian Apes) in the Cedarwoods of Azrou, which is considered the largest and biggest forest in all over the country. We proceed through Moroccan Switzerland(ifrane) where we will have around 15 minutes to explore it and enjoy our time there. Once you are ready, we will drive toward another imperial city (Mekness) which is a small provincial town that you can visit it, is at the same time very quiet and peaceful, compared to other big cities. Meknes which stands on a plateau, is surrounded by thick walls and is crossed by the river Oued Bouferkrane. All around is a very fertile valley, where they grow wheat and cereals, which are important resources for the economy of the city in order to have a quick stop and explore it and its historical monuments. Later on, we will drive 30 km to the Roman site (Volubilis): the ruins of this city speak of an ancient past that still leaves the signs of the ancient Roman Empire. Surrounded by wheat fields and lagoons populated by birds will give you an unusual landscape for Morocco. 6 days Fes Marrakech desert tour via Atlas itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive at the airport of Fes.

After your arrival, your driver/ guide will pick you up from the airport to the old city of Fes. It depends on your arrival if it is early then you will have time to have a mean tea welcome the hospitality and do a little shopping on your own if you are interested. We will drive you to the traditional riad at the heart of the medina where you will have an overnight.6 days Fes Marrakech desert tour via Atlas

Day 2: FES SIGHTSEE (CULTURE TOUR).

Today you will have almost 6 hours exploring the city of Fes with a local guide. The tour is divided into two parts. The first will be by car as you will see the royal palace gate, the Jewish quarter, a panoramic view of the old city, and the ceramic factory to see the traditional Moroccan handicrafts. Afterward, you will have enough time to see the inside the wall of the medina including Tanneries, the Bou Anania Medersa and the Karaouine mosque. In the afternoon you have the view of the new medina and the sunset time at the panoramic view of the old city.

Day 3: FES- MIDDLE ATLAS MOUNTAINS- MEDALT- Ziz gorges- MERZOUGA (Camel rides)

After breakfast, you will meet your diver/guide again and you will start your long day where you will see different things in one day. Our itinerary will start from the first imperial city of Morocco (Fes) toward the Sahara desert. We will travel through the middle Atlas Mountains. On our way, we will pass through the city of Ifrane which is known as “Moroccan Switzerland” because of its building. We will continue to the home of the native barbarian apes the cedar forest, the largest and the biggest one in Morocco. After crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains we will see many tents and caves of the nomadic families before stopping at the city of Medalt which is famous for its apples. Day 4: MERZOUGA (desert area) – OVERNIGHT AT THE CAMP

After the traditional breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to explore the desert area starting with one of the most attractive irrigation systems, which the inhabitants have had to use for over 100 years. From there to the village of KHAMLIA to discover a new style of life full of music and Gnaoua culture. They are originally from different African countries but they became a part of the Berber tribe which is in the same area. Today you will experience the favorite food of this area which is “Berber pizza” organized by a Berber family. In the afternoon, we will drive to the camel rides where you will have your adventure using camels among the dunes and having the overnight in a nomadic camp. You will have a wonderful experience night while having traditional Berber music and a beautiful view of stars and moon in the middle of nowhere.

Day 5: MERZOUGA – RISSANI – TOUDRA GORGES – DADES VALLEY

While you are enjoying the sunrise at the heart of the dunes and making beautiful memories your camel man will take you back to the hotel where you will enjoy your breakfast and have a hot shower as well. Later on, we will drive to Dades Valley passing through the city of Rissani/Sijilmassa which is one of the main stops of commercial caravans that come from Africa. On Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday there will be an opportunity to visit the traditional market of Rissani. We drive to Todra Gorges as the main place to have a picnic because it has a wonderful view. Day 6: DADES VALLEY – ROSES VALLEY – OUARZAZATE – MARRAKECH

Today we travel off-road and explore the region between the Dades Valley and the Valley of Roses. You will encounter the local nomads, some of whom still live in caves and tents. At El-Kelaa M’Gouna up to 4000 tonnes of rose petals are picked every spring to be processed into rosewater or exported for the perfume industry. The Rose Festival is held here in May. As we travel from El-Kelaa M’Gouna towards Skoura you will see Kasbahs set out among the greenery of the Dades Valley. The small town of Skoura is surrounded by an impressive palm grove and the most beautiful Kasbahs in southern Morocco are to be found here. Continuing south we arrive at the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, probably the most celebrated, filmed, and photographed Kasbah in Morocco. Featured in numerous films (including Lawrence of Arabia, The Sheltering Sky, and Gladiator), it is the best-preserved Kasbah in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Crossing the mountains via the Tizi n Tichka pass, we arrive in Marrakesh where your experience with our professional team ends.

While you were enjoying the sunrise at the heart of the dunes and taking beautiful memories your camel man will take you back to the hotel where you will enjoy your breakfast and having a hot shower as well. The adventure journey will take us around 8 hours towards Tafraout village. The day will include one the old military area of the French colonial during its occupation to Morocco. Day 6: TAFRAOUT- ALNIF- TOUDRA GORGES- DADES VALLEY

After breakfast at the hotel, we will have enough time to explore the farms and the kind of agriculture that people use in this area. En route, we will enjoy the view of the place where people cultivate and harvest the wit and hay. We drive to Todra gorges as the main place of having a picnic because it is a wonderful view. Day 7: DADES VALLEY- ROSES VALLEY – OUARZAZAT- MARRAKECH

Today we travel off-road and explore the region between the Dades Valley and the Valley of Roses. You will encounter the local nomads, some of whom still live in caves and tents. At El-Kelaa M’Gouna up to 4000 tonnes of rose petals are picked every spring to be processed into rosewater or exported for the perfume industry. The Rose Festival is held here in May. As we travel from El-Kelaa M’Gouna towards Skoura you will see Kasbahs set out among the greenery of the Dades Valley. The small town of Skoura is surrounded by an impressive palm grove and the most beautiful Kasbahs in southern Morocco are to be found here. Continuing south we arrive at the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, probably the most celebrated, filmed and photographed Kasbah in Morocco. Featured in numerous films (including Lawrence of Arabia, The Sheltering Sky and Gladiator), it is the best-preserved Kasbah in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Day 1: CHEFCHAOUN (bleu pearl) – VOLIBULIS – MEKNES- FES.

5 days Chefchaouen Marrakech desert trip departure: After the traditional breakfast, we leave Chefchaouen (bleu pearl), cross the Rif Mountains, and pass through green land which is full of different types of products. Arriving at the Roman site (Volubilis) is a partly excavated Berber city in Morocco situated near the city of Meknes, and commonly considered as the ancient capital of the kingdom of Mauretania. Built-in a fertile agricultural area, it developed from the 3rd century BC onward as a Berber, then proto-Carthaginian, settlement before being the capital of the kingdom of Mauretania. Driving to Meknes where we will have lunch and explore the main site of the city. Afterward, we will continue to the first imperial city of the Kingdom of Morocco where accommodation is in the old city.

Day 2: FES SIGHTSEE (CULTURE TOUR).

Today you will have almost 6 hours exploring the city of Fes with a local guide. The tour is divided into two parts. The first will be by car as you will see the royal palace gate, the Jewish quarter, panoramic view of the old city and the ceramic factory to see the traditional Moroccan handicraft. Afterward, you will have enough time to see the inside the wall of the medina including Tanneries, the Bou Anania Medersa and Karaouine mosque. Our itinerary will start from the first imperial city of Morocco (Fes) toward the Sahara desert. We will travel through the middle Atlas Mountains. In our way, we will pass through the city of Ifrane which is known as “Moroccan Switzerland” because of its building. We will continue to the home of the native barbarian apes which the cedar forest, the largest and the biggest one in Morocco. After crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains we will see many tents and caves of the nomadic families before stopping at the city of Medalt which famous for the apples. En route, and before arriving the camel rides we will have a stop at the palm groves which is an impressive view of the palm trees.

Today we travel off-road and explore the region between the Dades Valley and the Valley of Roses. You will encounter the local nomads, some of whom still live in caves and tents. At El-Kelaa M’Gouna up to 4000 tonnes of rose petals are picked every spring to be processed into rosewater or exported for the perfume industry. The Rose Festival is held here in May. As we travel from El-Kelaa M’Gouna towards Skoura you will see Kasbahs set out among the greenery of the Dades Valley. The small town of Skoura is surrounded by an impressive palm grove and the most beautiful Kasbahs in southern Morocco are to be found here. Continuing south we arrive at the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, probably the most celebrated, filmed, and photographed Kasbah in Morocco. Featured in numerous films (including Lawrence of Arabia, The Sheltering Sky, and Gladiator), it is the best-preserved Kasbah in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Casablanca to Marrakech desert tour itinerary:

Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes.

At the scheduled time for our trip, our English-speaking driver will come to meet you at your location. Then depart for our 6 days Casablanca Desert tour to Marrakech, on our way to Rabat “The Capital of Morocco”. Once we arrive, we will visit Hassan Tower with the Kasbah of Oudaya. Our Casablanca tour continues to Meknes ‘one of the Moroccan Imperial cities where we can visit “Bab Mansour” which means ” Gate of Mansour”. Then to the Roman ruins of Volubilis before driving to Fes for overnight in our Riad.6 days Casablanca to Marrakech desert tour

Day 2: Fez “Guided tour”.

After breakfast, we will go for a walking visit around Fes Medina with our local guide, also visit the royal palace of Fez with its decorated doors and walls. Afterward, we will explore the old Medina’s Souk with a visit to the leather workshops of Fez with Bab Boujloud gate. Day 3: Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga

Our desert tour continues for the 3rd day by driving to Azrou Cedar forest, passing by Ifrane “the Switzerland of Morocco” because of its European buildings.
At our arrival at Azrou forest, we will take the opportunity to see and feed the monkeys. Afterward, we take our destination to the Desert by crossing the Anti Atlas mountains and pass via Midelt city. By heading to the South of Morocco, we will make a stop at Ziz valley to enjoy the views of this colorful valley before driving towards Erfoud, (the Fossils and dates capital). Upon arrival at Merzouga dunes, we will be welcomed with a glass of Berber tea while check-in for our rooms. Dinner and overnight in a panoramic hotel.

Day 4: Merzouga desert tour – Camel trekking and night in Berber Camp

After our breakfast, we will get ready for our Desert 4×4 tour. We will drive along the desert dunes by taking Dakar-Rally off-road to visit Nomads in their tents and Mud Igloo. We will set with them and might take a glass of tea with them. we then continue our off-road trip towards marble quarries and Miffis mines of Eyeliner. After a while, we will drive towards the black people village of Khamlia. In this village, we will visit one of the Gnawa music houses to watch a few folklores of Soul music with drums. We can also have a chance to dance with them. At this village, we’ll go to have a Berber Pizza or Couscous for lunch, then drive back to our hotel to get ready for our Camel trekking experience. We will check out the hotel and ride the camels to the top of the sand dunes to see an amazing sunset. Day 5: Merzouga desert – Erfoud – Todra gorges – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate

According to your choice, we can wake up earlier in the morning to see the sunrise over the Sand dunes before our breakfast. Once we finish breakfast, we will make sure everyone is ready for another adventure day trip. We will drive along the Desert fields passing by Erfoud, Jorf, and Tinjdad. Our next destination will be Todra Gorges, where we will go for a walk under 300M altitude canyons and enjoy the river sounds. After a while, we will continue our day tour towards Ouarzazate passing by the Rose Valley and Skoura. Once we arrive at Ouarzazate, we will visit Taourirt Kasbah, and the Cinema Studio, then continue to check-in our hotel overnight.

Day 6: Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – High Atlas mountains – Marrakech

In the morning, we take breakfast and get ready for our next day tour of the High Atlas mountains. Our destination for today will be Marrakech. On our way, we will make a stop at the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou to go on a guided visit with our Guide/Driver. Explore this UNESCO heritage and wander in its alleys and rocks stairs. After our visit, we will cross the pass of Tizi-N-tichka which stands at an altitude of 2600M. On our arrival to Marrakech, we will accompany you to your accommodation where our tour comes to an end.
