4 days Marrakech Fes desert tour itinerary:

Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Rose Valley – Dades Gorges.

4 days Marrakech to Fes desert tour departure: Morocco Helping Tour guide will pick you up from your Hotel/riad in Marrakech at 8:00 a.m, our 3 days Marrakesh Fes tour will take us over the heart of high Atlas Mountains and Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m). We’ll stop to enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the mountains and the special Berber Villages on the way. Once, we cross the mountains we get to the gate of the desert, the oldest and most famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou – A Unesco World Heritage Site used as a backdrop for more than 20 films (Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, Games of Thrones…We will stop for lunch, then visit this old mud kasbah. Then we will travel through the city of Ouarzazate (Hollywood of Africa) – with the biggest cinema studios – after then, we continue south to the Valley of Roses where around 400 tons of rose petals are picked every year and sent to be processed into rose water, which we called it also as the distillation of roses in order to produce the creams and perfumes. Later, we will drive all along the road of thousand kasbahs before arriving at Dades Valley, overnight in a hotel /riad overlooking the Valley.

Day 2: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga – Sahara Desert.

After breakfast in the hotel/riad. We set off to Todra Valley: a green fertile valley surrounded by old mud villages, then we drive around 14 km, we get to Todra Gorges: a canyon rising to 500m in a valley dotted with Palm trees and Berber Villages. After lunch in the gorge, we will drive to the Desert (Erg Chebbi) passing by an old underground irrigation system (Khettarat), which is a system that helps people to water their farms. We will continue south, We reach the Sahara desert where your camels are waiting to give you a ride crossing the golden dunes. The final stop will be at the camel place where we are going to ride them and spend an overnight in the nomadic tent and enjoy the company of a band playing Berber music under the stars in the heart of the desert/ Sahara, This a beautiful experience that you might need to film. the desert/ Sahara.

Day 3: Exploring the desert area (culture and history)

After breakfast in the riad/hotel you will start an explorative journey of the area. You’ll visit the Gnawa people, originally slaves brought from Sudan, to experience their music and lifestyle. After that, we will drive in desert area where you will have the opportunity to meet the nomad families still living in Berber tents and explore their way of life. Today our lunch will be local meal (Berber pezza) with a local family. You may also visit the souk in Rissani, a traditional town which was the origin of the ruling family in Morocco and the meeting place of the Caravans trading as far as Timbuctou in Mali. Here you will see a lot of men hooded and women veiled. After this long journey you’ll be welcomed with a glass of mint tea before you check in to your riad/ hotel where your dinner and breakfast are included.

Day 4: Sahara Desert – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Cedar Forest- Ifrane – Fes

Wake up early to see one of the best sunrises in your life on the top of the riad/hotel. After then breakfast will be served by the staff of the guest house. we will drive to Erfoud (the capital of fossils and date) where we are going to discover the process of beautiful mineral fossils. Then we will leave to Fez traveling through Aoufous and Ziz Valley where we’ll stop to appreciate the panoramic views of the main source of date to the country of Morocco. We will stop for lunch in Midelt (the capital of the apple) and we will continue to take pictures of wild monkeys (Barbarian Apes) in the Cedarwoods of Azrou , which is considered as the largest and biggest forest in all over the country. We proceed through Moroccan Switzerland(ifrane) where we will have around 15 minutes to explore it and enjoying our time there. Agadir desert tour via high atlas itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival at Agadir Airport.

You will meet your driver/ guide at the airport regarding your flight time for your 10 days Agadir desert tour via high atlas. Your guide will welcome you and drive towards your Hotel accommodation according to your agreement with our company. Overnight at the hotel in the Agriculture City (Agadir).

Day 2: Agadir – Taliouine- Ait Ben Haddou- Ouarzazate.

Morocco Helping Tours driver/guide will pick you up from your hotel accommodation in Agadir. Your 10 day tour from Agadir will start by passing through Berber villages where you can have stop regarding your interest. On our way, we will stop at one the Cooperatives of SAFRAN as it is the main economy of that city. Our lunch will take place at Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah where we will visit the famous Kasbah (declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986). Famous films have been shot in this spectacular stage, including Gladiator, Obelix, The Mummy, The Jewel of the Nile, and Sahara with Penelope Cruz…etc. After visiting the Kasbah we´ll go to Ouarzazate also known as “The gate of the desert”. Overnight at the Riad in Hollywood of Africa.

Day 3: Ouarzazate – Roses valley- Dades valley – Toudra gorges- Merzouga

After breakfast at your accommodation, we will continue our 10 days trip towards Sahara Desert. Our first stop will be at Roses valley at the Roses cooperative where you will learn the distillation of Roses and product that we can make from it. Continuing driving to Toudra gorges which are a series of limestone river canyons, we will stop for 20 minutes to discover the area of gorges and lunch will be at one of the restaurant in our way to Merzouga. Later on, The final stop will be at the camel place where we are going to ride them and spend an overnight in the nomadic tent and enjoy the company of a band playing Berber music under the stars in the heart of the desert/ Sahara, This a beautiful experience that you might need to film. Day 4: Merzouga area (Around the dunes tour)

Get up early for the sunrise view and have your breakfast at the camp and be ready to explorative journey of the area. After breakfast thbe ready to start our long driving journey. After then we will start our journey back to Marrakech and have some stops on the unique panoramic views among the Anti-Atlas Mountains. The main stop will take us place in Daraa valley YOU will wake up early to experience an amazing sunrise in the top of the big sand dunes, then, which is the largest and longest valley full of the palm trees, it considered also as the main source of the date the county. Later on, we will continue to Marrakech over the high Atlas Mountains. Arrival to Marrakech where Morocco Helping and overnight at the Riad in the heart of the old Medina.

Day 6: Marrakech Sightseeing (Culture tour by local guide)

After breakfast in the riad, you will start exploring Marrakech “the Red City of Morocco”. Your guide will ensure that you see most of the sites with historical and cultural interest – including the famous Jemaa El Fna square, the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian tombs; the Palace of Bahia and the Ben Youssef Coranic School. Lunch at a restaurant near the square, then in the afternoon visit the Majorelle Gardens, and have a short visit to the new city of Marrakech. Overnight at the same Riad at the heart of the old city (Medina).

Day 7: Marrakech – Ounagha- Essaouira

After breakfast, we will leave Marrakech “the red city” toward Essaouira or the Old Portuguese city. You may visit an Argan factory run by women and get to know about the process of making Argan oil. You will explore the port of the Coastal tourist town of Essaouira. Enjoy a fresh seafood lunch in the medina. The afternoon is at your leisure for a personal exploration; you can swim and relax on the beach. Enjoy your evening meal and spend the night in a Riad at the heart of the old city.

Day 8: Free Day in Essaouira

Today you will be free to do any activities you are interested in. You may walk to explore the city or spend the day near the beach . Overnight at the same Riad at the heart of the medina.

Day 9: Essaouira- Imsouane- Agadir

After breakfast at your accommodation, we will start our day towards Agadir city passing through Imsouane where you can have lunch or do some activities by yourself. You will cross the high Atlas Mountains and many genuine Berber villages that were built of mud and rocks, and see many Argan trees along your way; you will have several stops at your request. Arriving at Agadir we will drop you of at your accommodation regarding your interest.

Day 10: Agadir- Airport

Day 1: Tangier – Riff mountains – Chefchaouen

Staring your tour by meeting our professional guide at the airport/ Raid, You will leave the tangier city toward the city of Chefchaouen via the Riff Mountains which are considered as part of the beauty of the country. Day 2: Chefchaouen- Volibilis(Roman ruins) – Meknes- Fes

After the traditional breakfast, we leave Chefchaouen (bleu pearl), crossing the Rif Mountains and passing through green land which is full of different types of products. Arriving at the Roman site (Volubilis) is a partly excavated Berber city in Morocco situated near the city of Meknes, and commonly considered as the ancient capital of the kingdom of Mauretania. Built-in a fertile agricultural area, it developed from the 3rd century BC onward as a Berber, then proto-Carthaginian, settlement before being the capital of the kingdom of Mauretania. Driving to Meknes where we will have lunch and explore the main site of the city. Day 3: Fes sightsee (Culture tour with local guide)

Today you will have almost 6 hours exploring the city of Fes with a local guide. The tour is divided into two parts. The first will be by car as you will see the royal palace gate, the Jewish quarter, panoramic view of the old city and the ceramic factory to see the traditional Moroccan handicraft. Afterward, you will have enough time to see the inside the wall of the medina including Tanneries, the Bou Anania Medersa and Karaouine mosque. In the afternoon you have the view of the new medina and the sunset time at the panoramic view of the old city.

Day 4: Fes – Ifrane- Cedar Forest- Medalt – Ziz Valley- Merzouga

After breakfast you will start your long day where you will see different things in one day. Our day tour will start from the first imperial city of Morocco (Fes) toward the Sahara desert. We will travel through the middle Atlas Mountains. In our way, we will pass through the city of Ifrane which is known as “Moroccan Switzerland” because of its building. We will continue to the home of the native barbarian apes which the cedar forest, the largest and the biggest one in Morocco. After crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains we will see many tents and caves of the nomadic families before stopping at the city of Medalt which famous for the apples. Day 5: MERZOUGA (Exploring the Sahara desert area)

After the traditional breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to explore the desert area starting with one of the most attractive irrigation systems, where the inhabitant has to use over 100 years. From there to the village of KHAMLIA to discover a new style of life full music and Gnaoua culture. They are originally from different African countries but they became a part of the Berber tribe who is in the same area. Today you will experience the favourite food of this area which is “Berber pizza” organized by a Berber family. In the afternoon we will drive to the Riad and you will have the possibility to explore the village by yourselves.

Day 6: MERZOUGA- RISSANI- TOUDRA GORGES- DADES VALLEY

While you were enjoying the sunrise at the heart of the dunes and taking beautiful memories your camel man will take you back to the hotel where you will enjoy your breakfast and having a hot shower as well. Later on, we will drive to Dades valley passing through the city of Rissani/Sijilmassa which is one of the main stops of the commercial caravans that coming from Africa. On Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday there will be an opportunity to visit the traditional market of Rissani. We drive to Todra gorges as the main place of having a picnic because it is a wonderful view. Day 7: DADES VALLEY- ROSES VALLEY – OUARZAZAT- MARRAKECH

Today we travel off-road and explore the region between the Dades Valley and the Valley of Roses. You will encounter the local nomads, some of whom still live in caves and tents. At El-Kelaa M’Gouna up to 4000 tonnes of rose petals are picked every spring to be processed into rosewater or exported for the perfume industry. The Rose Festival is held here in May. As we travel from El-Kelaa M’Gouna towards Skoura you will see Kasbahs set out among the greenery of the Dades Valley. The small town of Skoura is surrounded by an impressive palm grove and the most beautiful Kasbahs in southern Morocco are to be found here. Continuing south we arrive at the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, probably the most celebrated, filmed, and photographed Kasbah in Morocco. Featured in numerous films (including Lawrence of Arabia, The Sheltering Sky, and Gladiator), it is the best-preserved Kasbah in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Crossing the mountains via the Tizi n Tichka pass. then arriving at Marrakesh, the overnight at the Riad inside the Medina.

Day 8: MARRAKECH (city tour by local guide)

After breakfast at your Riad, the local guide will pick you up to start exploring the city of Marrakech. Today will see the most attractive sights and monuments that Marrakech contains including Bahia Palace, Koutoubia mosque, Saadian tombs, Jamaa El Fanaa square as well as exploring the traditional Souk of the city. In the afternoon, your driver will take you to visit the famous Majorelle Garden, Menara Garden and having a look at the new medina (geliz) of Marrakech. In the evening we will go back to the Raid.

Day 9: Marrakech – Ouzoud Waterfalls – Marrakech

After breakfast, we will drive towards Ouzoud waterfalls in the Middle Atlas Mountains, and enjoy a scenic drive past the olive groves and Berber countryside of the plains north of Marrakech.
