Day 1: FES- Ifrane- Azrou- Medalt- Errachidia-Merzouga(Erg Chabbi).

4 days Fes Morocco desert trip to Marrakech departure: The guide of Morocco Helping Tours will pick you up from the Hotel/Riad. We will start our trip from the first imperial city (Fes) passing through the middle Atlas Mountains. The first stop will be at the city of Ifrane (Moroccan Switzerland), we will have a walk in the city for 15 minutes to discover its beauty and specificities. Some of the remarkable features of the city are: it is considered the cleanest city in Morocco and it is inspired by the European architecture. After spending few times in Ifrane our trip continues to the biggest and the largest forest in Morocco where you will enjoy the time with Barbarian Apes (monkeys). After then we will be heading to Medalt (the capital of the apple) via the highest point of the middle Atlas Mountains. In the apple city we will have our lunch, then we will drive to pass through Zibell Tunnel which is made by the French colonial in order to pass the weapons to the borders. For a while we will have a stop on the panoramic view of Ziz Valley which is full of palm trees and considered the main source of the date. The final stop we will drive through welcoming Berber villages to Erfoud, and then Rissani, the foundation of the Alaouite dynasty – the current ruling royal family in Morocco. Arriving in Merzouga at the end of the day, you’ll be welcomed with a glass of mint tea before you check in to your riad/ hotel.

Day 2: Exploring the desert area (culture and history).

After breakfast in the riad/hotel you will start an explorative journey of the area. You’ll visit the Gnawa people, originally slaves brought from Sudan, to experience their music and lifestyle. After that, we will drive in desert area where you will have the opportunity to meet the nomad families still living in Berber tents and explore their way of life. Today our lunch will be local meal (Berber pezza) with a local family. You may also visit the souk in Rissani, a traditional town which was the origin of the ruling family in Morocco and the meeting place of the Caravans trading as far as Timbuctou in Mali. Here you will see a lot of men hooded and women veiled. The final stop will be at the camel place where we are going to ride them and spend an overnight in the nomadic tent and enjoy the company of a band playing Berber music under the stars in the heart of the desert/ Sahara, This a beautiful experience that you might need to film. the desert/ Sahara.

Day 3: Merzouga(Erg Chabbi) – Erfoud -Toudra gorges- Dades valley

Your camel guides will weak you up in the early morning to experience the magic and best sunrise among the dunes which will be the fabulous one in your life. Afterward you will peacefully ride camels back to the riad/hotel where you are going to have a traditional breakfast and take a hot shower. After then we will drive to Erfoud (the capital of fossils and date) where we are going to discover the process of beautiful mineral fossils, then we will leave to Toudra gorges: the highest and narrowest gorge in Morocco and it is about 500m above the sea. Here you will have the chance to hike a long it’s valley. We will drive towards Dades valley where we will see the majestic sand castles and amazing rock formation named “fingers of monkeys”. The overnight accommodation will be in a hotel/riad in the heart of the valley with dinner and breakfast included.

Day 4: Dades valley – Roses valley – Ouarzazat – Ait bn Haddou – Marrakech

Once you finish your breakfast, we will continue our tour that started from Fes. Today we will drive to take the road named the route of thousand Kasbah, providing several opportunities to take beautiful pictures of the trip. The first stop of today will be at Roses valley “The rose city” where you see the how they do the distillation of Roses in one of the cooperatives that offer the product of the roses. Continue to the city of Ouarzazat “the Hollywood of Africa, The door of the desert”. Our mid-day meal will be in the famous Kasbah of Ait bn Haddou. It is recognized by UNESCO as world patrimony. It is famous as backdrop for many films such as: (Gladiator, the Sheltering Sky, Game of Throne). From there to the village of KHAMLIA to discover a new style of life full music and Gnaoua culture. They are originally from different African countries but they became a part of the Berber tribe who is in the same area. Today you will experience the favorite food of this area which is “Berber pizza” organized by a Berber family. In the afternoon, we will drive to the camel rides where you will have your adventure using camels among the dunes and having the overnight in a nomadic camp. You will spend a wonderful experience night while having a traditional Berber music and a beautiful view of stars and moon in the middle of nowhere.

Day 3: MERZOUGA- RISSANI- TOUDRA GORGES- DADES VALLEY

While you were enjoying the sunrise at the heart of the dunes and taking beautiful memories your camel man will take you back to the hotel where you will enjoy your breakfast and having a hot shower as well. Later on, we will drive to Dades valley passing through the city of Rissani/Sijilmassa which is one of the main stops of the commercial caravans that coming from Africa. On Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday there will be an opportunity to visit the traditional market of Rissani. We drive to Todra gorges as the main place of having a picnic because it is a wonderful view. Today we travel off-road and explore the region between the Dades Valley and the Valley of Roses. You will encounter the local nomads, some of whom still live in caves and tents. At El-Kelaa M’Gouna up to 4000 tonnes of rose petals are picked every spring to be processed into rosewater or exported for the perfume industry. The Rose Festival is held here in May. As we travel from El-Kelaa M’Gouna towards Skoura you will see Kasbahs set out among the greenery of the Dades Valley. The small town of Skoura is surrounded by an impressive palm grove and the most beautiful Kasbahs in southern Morocco are to be found here. Continuing south we arrive at the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, probably the most celebrated, filmed and photographed Kasbah in Morocco. Featured in numerous films (including Lawrence of Arabia, The Sheltering Sky and Gladiator), it is the best-preserved Kasbah in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Day 1: Arrive at the airport of Fes.

9 days Camel trekking Fes Marrakech tour departure: After your arrival, your driver/ guide will pick you up from the airport to the old city of Fes. It depends on your arrival if it is early than you will have time to have a meant tea welcoming as the hospitality and do a little shopping on your own if you are interested. Day 2: FES SIGHTSEE (CULTURE TOUR)

Today you will have almost 6 hours exploring the city of Fes with a local guide. The tour is divided into two parts. The first will be by car as you will see the royal palace gate, the Jewish quarter, panoramic view of the old city and the ceramic factory to see the traditional Moroccan handicraft. Afterward, you will have enough time to see the inside the wall of the medina including Tanneries, the Bou Anania Medersa and Karaouine mosque. Day 3: FES- MIDDLE ATLASS MOUNTAINS- MEDALT- Ziz gorges- MERZOUGA.

After breakfast you will meet your diver/guide again and you will start your long day where you will see different things in one day. Our itinerary will start from the first imperial city of Morocco (Fes) toward the Sahara desert. We will travel through the middle Atlas Mountains. In our way, we will pass through the city of Ifrane which is known as “Moroccan Switzerland” because of its building. We will continue to the home of the native barbarian apes which the cedar forest, the largest and the biggest one in Morocco. After crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains we will see many tents and caves of the nomadic families before stopping at the city of Medalt which famous for the apples. En route, and before arriving the overnight accommodation to have a warm res we will have a stop at the palm groves which is an impressive view of the palm trees.9 days Camel trekking Fes Marrakech tour

Day 4: MERZOUGA (desert area) – OVERNIGHT AT THE CAMP.

After the traditional breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to explore the desert area starting with one of the most attractive irrigation systems, which the inhabitants have used over 100 years. From there to the village of KHAMLIA to discover a new style of life full of music and Gnaoua culture. They are originally from different African countries but they became a part of the Berber tribe which is in the same area. Today you will experience the favorite food of this area which is “Berber pizza” organized by a Berber family. In the afternoon, we will drive to the camel rides where you will have your adventure using camels among the dunes and having the overnight in a nomadic camp. You will have a wonderful experience at night while having traditional Berber music and a beautiful view of stars and moon in the middle of nowhere.

Day 5: MERZOUGA- TAOUZ- RAMLIA- TAFRAOUT (Adventure day).

While you were enjoying the sunrise at the heart of the dunes and taking beautiful memories your camel man will take you back to the hotel where you will enjoy your breakfast and having a hot shower as well. The adventure journey will take us around 8 hours towards Tafraout village. The day will include one the old military area of the French colonial during its occupation to Morocco. The most of the day is just having the adventure among the dry land by passing through different villages where few families and nomadic people in their tents, then we will have the opportunity to discover their daily life. Our lunch will be traditional and organised by us as a part of our daily life food. Day 6: TAFRAOUT- ALNIF- TOUDRA GORGES- DADES VALLEY.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will have enough time to explore the farms and the kind of agriculture that people use in this area. En route, we will enjoy the view of the place where people cultivate and harvest the wit and hay. We drive to Todra gorges as the main place of having a picnic because it is a wonderful view. Arriving at Dades valley where you will have an overnight in a hotel that sheds the light and have a good view of the valley.

Day 7: DADES VALLEY- ROSES VALLEY – OUARZAZAT- MARRAKECH.

Today we travel off-road and explore the region between the Dades Valley and the Valley of Roses. You will encounter the local nomads, some of whom still live in caves and tents. At El-Kelaa M’Gouna up to 4000 tonnes of rose petals are picked every spring to be processed into rosewater or exported for the perfume industry. The Rose Festival is held here in May. As we travel from El-Kelaa M’Gouna towards Skoura you will see Kasbahs set out among the greenery of the Dades Valley. The small town of Skoura is surrounded by an impressive palm grove and the most beautiful Kasbahs in southern Morocco are to be found here. Continuing south we arrive at the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, probably the most celebrated, filmed and photographed Kasbah in Morocco. Featured in numerous films (including Lawrence of Arabia, The Sheltering Sky and Gladiator), it is the best-preserved Kasbah in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Crossing the mountains via the Tizi n Tichka pass, we arrive in Marrakesh where your experience with our professional team ends.

Day 8: MARRAKECH (city tour by local guide)

After breakfast at your Riad, the local guide will pick you up to start exploring the city of Marrakech. Today will see the most attractive sights and monuments that Marrakech contains including Bahia Palace, Koutoubia mosque, Saadian tombs, Jamaa El Fanaa square as well as exploring the traditional Souk of the city. In the afternoon, your driver will take you to visit the famous Majorelle Garden, Menara Garden and having a look at the new medina ( geliz) of Marrakech. Later on, he will drop you off at your accommodation where your experience ends with our expert team.

Day 9: MARRAKECH (departure to airport)

Departing on your flight time regarding to what you agreed about with your driver/guide. This is the last day of your trip with our expert team ( have safe flight).
