Day 1: Tangier → Mediterranean Coast → Akchour → Chefchaouen

Our journey begins at 8:00 AM with pickup from your Tangier accommodation. We’ll drive along the stunning Mediterranean coast, stopping first for panoramic views of Gibraltar from Tangier’s new port. Continuing east, we’ll pass near the Spanish enclave of Ceuta before reaching the summer resort town of Martil.

Next, we arrive in Tetouan (“The White Dove”), where we’ll explore Morocco’s smallest yet most Andalusian-influenced medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site. After seeing the iconic dove roundabout, we’ll continue to Akchour waterfalls – a perfect nature escape where you can:

• Hike to small waterfalls (1 hour) or tall waterfalls (2 hours)
• Swim in natural pools (summer months)
• Visit the impressive God’s Bridge rock formation

After our nature exploration, we’ll continue to Chefchaouen, arriving in the evening to check into your riad in the blue medina.

Day 2: Chefchaouen Exploration → Tangier

Wake early for an optional sunrise hike in the Rif Mountains for breathtaking views over the blue city. After breakfast, we’ll fully immerse ourselves in Chefchaouen’s charms:

• Visit Ras El Ma river and its historic watermills
• Explore the Kasbah Ethnographic Museum and gardens
• Wander the famous blue alleyways
• Enjoy free time at Outa El Hamam square with its cafes and street musicians
