Your Moroccan adventure begins with a pickup from Tangier airport or your accommodation. We’ll drive south through the scenic Rif Mountains, making several stops for panoramic photos of the lush landscapes. By early afternoon, we’ll arrive in Chefchaouen, the famous “Blue Pearl” of Morocco. After checking into your riad in the historic medina, you’ll have free time to explore the photogenic blue-washed alleyways at your leisure. The evening is yours to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this mountain town.
After breakfast, we depart Chefchaouen heading towards Fes. Our first stop is the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, where you’ll explore well-preserved mosaics and learn about Morocco’s Roman history. Continuing to Meknes, we’ll visit the impressive Bab Mansour gate and enjoy lunch in this imperial city. The afternoon brings us to Fes, where you’ll spend the night in a traditional riad within the ancient medina walls.
Today is dedicated to discovering Fes with a knowledgeable local guide. The morning tour includes the Royal Palace gates, Jewish Quarter, and a ceramic cooperative where artisans create beautiful mosaics. After lunch, we’ll delve into the medina’s maze-like streets to visit the famous tanneries, historic mosques, and madrasas. The day concludes with panoramic sunset views over the entire medina from a strategic viewpoint.
We begin our journey to the Sahara today, crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains. Our route takes us through Ifrane (known as “Moroccan Switzerland”), the cedar forests where wild monkeys roam, and the agricultural town of Midelt. After lunch, we descend through the dramatic Ziz Valley, watching the landscape transform into desert. Arriving in Merzouga in late afternoon, you’ll mount camels for a sunset trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes to your luxury desert camp.
Today immerses you in Sahara culture. We’ll visit ancient irrigation systems still in use today and the village of Khamlia, known for its Gnawa musicians descended from West African slaves. You’ll enjoy a traditional “Berber pizza” lunch with a local family and have the opportunity to meet nomadic people still living in traditional tents. The afternoon is free to explore Merzouga village before another magical night in the desert camp.
After sunrise over the dunes and breakfast at camp, we depart for Dades Valley. En route, we’ll stop in Rissani to visit its traditional market (on market days) and see remnants of the ancient Sijilmassa trading post. The highlight of the day is Todra Gorge, where 300-meter cliffs tower above a palm-filled canyon. We’ll arrive in Dades Valley by evening, staying at a hotel with spectacular views of the “monkey fingers” rock formations.
Our journey continues through the Valley of Roses, where thousands of rose bushes bloom each spring. We’ll visit Skoura’s impressive palm grove before reaching Ait Benhaddou, the famous kasbah featured in many Hollywood films. After lunch, we cross the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka pass, arriving in Marrakech by evening. You’ll spend the night in a riad within the medina walls.
Your Moroccan journey concludes today with a transfer to Marrakech airport based on your flight schedule. We’ll ensure you arrive with plenty of time for check-in and security procedures, leaving you with unforgettable memories of your 8-day adventure.

Tej GVerified A Memorable Moroccan trip with an Amazing Guide! I just had the most unforgettable trip to Morocco with 13 incredible women! From the moment we arrived in Marrakech to our final stop in the stunning blue city of Chefchaouen, everything was seamless. We explored vibrant souks, historic places, and breathtaking landscapes. We rode dromedary (Arabian camel) at sunset, soared in a hot air balloon at sunrise, hiked through Monkey Fingers, and danced under the stars to Berber music and lot more. Our guide, Moh, made the experience even more enjoyable. He has a deep knowledge of Morocco’s history and culture. He was not only informative but also incredibly friendly, respectful and fun. He cared for each of us, ensuring we all were comfortable and engaged throughout the trip. Whether it was lending a helping hand in a challenging hike, helping negotiate prices at the shops, or answering any question about Morocco, he was always there. He carries a certain pride and passion for being a tour guide, and it shows.Beyond the itinerary, I fell in love with the warmth and hospitality of the Moroccan people. Whomever I interacted with, I was met with kindness and respect. The warmth, their hospitality, their stories, and, of course their mint tea - made my trip truly special and memorable. I will definitely be returning to Morocco in the future. If you’re considering visiting, I highly recommend it - especially with a guide like Moh! 😊 Michelle MVerified Great time!
